The C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur is a little paradise for diving enthusiasts, both experienced and novice. Here is a selection of 5 diving spots to try urgently. Everyone on your fins!<\/p>\n

The Golden Island<\/h2>\n

Here we are near Saint-Rapha\u00ebl, in the Var. The Golden Island is a spot that is home to many wonders and is accessible for all diving levels. It is home to an entire marine ecosystem: barracudas, moray eels, groupers, sea urchins, octopuses, lobsters. For depth enthusiasts, you can dive up to 30 meters deep.<\/p>\n

The wreck of the ship “Le Sagona”<\/h2>\n

A sunken ship which is a perfect spot between the islands of Port-Cros and Porquerolles, still in the Var. Not far from Hy\u00e8res, you can admire the wreck of the “Sagona”, a ship over 50 meters long, sunk in 1945. The wreck lies 40 meters deep. We recommend this spot only for diving professionals.<\/p>\n

The underwater caves of \u201cCuttlefish in oil\u201d<\/h2>\n

Facing Sainte-Maxime, \u201cLa S\u00e8che \u00e0 l\u2019Huile\u201d is a diving spot that goes down to a depth of 45 meters and is accessible to everyone. There is also a very vast fauna and flora: barracudas, octopuses and sea breams. It is a fairly large spot, we also advise you to admire two magnificent underwater caves.<\/p>\n

Le Port Cros<\/h2>\n

Diving is also an activity to do as a family. This spot located in the north of Palud Bay in Port-Cros is accessible simply with a mask and a snorkel. You can just go there with your family and descend up to 10 meters without any problem. Port Cros is quite simply a little paradise for diving enthusiasts, where you can meet groupers, barracudas or gorgonians.<\/p>\n

Without doubt the Holy Grail of diving on the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur! The ruby \u200b\u200bis the wreck of a minelaying submarine from the Second World War. Sunk in 1958, it rests 40 meters deep on a mound of sand. Being perfectly preserved, it is very appreciated by divers eager for sensations.<\/p>\n
